Christopher found Wellington murdered with a pitchfork through its stomach. Christopher then took the pitchfork out and held the dog. The dog's owner, Mrs. Shears, saw Christopher in the garden holding the dog and called the police. When the police arrived, Christopher got mad and hit one of the police officers. -

When he arrived at the Police Station, they took everything he had on him and locked him in a cell by himself. Eventually, they release Christopher with a stern warning -
Detective Work
Later, Christopher makes a map of his whole neighborhood and goes around questioning him. He meets a woman named Mrs. Alexander who helps him out a lot. From his newly found information, he finds out that Mrs. Shears is the prime suspect -
The Truth
Christopher finds out his dad killed Wellington -
London
After he finds out about the news, Christopher travels to London. When he arrives in London, he meets up with his mother who welcomes him with open arms. He tells his mother what happened and they decide to wait a week before returning to the house. -
Back at Home
When Christopher and his mother arrive back at home, he stays with him for a while before they get kicked out. Because of this, Christopher is unable to take his A level classes which he previously rescheduled. His father tried to apologize to him, but Christopher did not want to speak to him. -
Conclusion
Eventually, Christopher takes his A level classes and gets A's! Also, After his pet rat, named Toby, dies, his father gifts him a new puppy and names it Sandy. He plans on taking more A level classes in future!
