father sick
he found out his father was sick and wished him good luck.
he also said that he would be coming home in about a month.
he said that he has been trying to send letters but hasnt taken one yet. -
headquarter change
he told his father that he would have a location change to indianapolis.
he also said that he marched to camp carrington where he describedit as comfortable and splendid. -

he is writing his father letting him know he only has a little time to write. john miller told his father he is having a good time since he has no dutys to do at the moment.
he said the military service also seems to be agreeing with him so far and he hasnt been in better health than he was at the present time. -
location change
since the last time he wrote his family he had a location change to camp taylor louisville kentucky.
he said that as of that point he has no more major.
but he still has one of the best colonels. -
brother
he recieved a letter from his brother the night before.
he found out his father was sick again.
he informed his brother that he has changed location to nashville tennessee -
family
he wrote his family letting know that he was healthy. also he would be changing location the next day and would be moving to knoxville. -
son
he told his son that he recieved his letter from nashville the previous day.
he said that he was doing but his health was rather bad
and he was getting sick.
the last thing he said was that his friend William Stoner died in Kentucky -

he wrote his father telling him that he wasnt doing that well and times had been rough. He also told his father that he had changed location from nashville to loudon which was about 50 miles away from knoxville.
the last thing he mentioned was he owes one of his friends a dollar of which he borrowed the previous winter. -
