Railroad Strike
Pennsylvania railroad workers joined other citizens and protest wage cuts and layoffs. Police and local militia sided with the strikers. Troops where called from Philadelphia and on July 21 troops arrive and someone threw a rock at one of the troops causing the troops to shot and killing 20 people ;men, women, and kids 29 wounded. After the riot it left 61 people dead and 150 injured causeing $7 million in property. -

Ferris Wheel

Smithfield Street Bridge
