Plot Against America: Inspirations
Phillip Roth starts to write his book A Plot Against America. He wrote the book as close as possible to see how Lindbergh would act if nominated. Roth says that his book isn't about facism and that isn't why he wrote the book. He wrote it to write about how the Jews were nerved by the fact of a "Jew-hater" coming to power. He was making up a counter-reality that thought could be true. -
Sandy Roth
Sandy Roth is Phillips older brother. He died in 2007 from heart failure. Him and Phillip were very close when they were young. Many of their friends used to say to them, "If Sandy stopped short Phillip's nose would go right up his a**". He went to art school and became an artist. He married and had 2 children.
