    Birth of Paul Feyerabend

    Paul Feyerabend was born in 1924 on January 13. He was born in Vienna. When he was an adult, he was drafted into the military. While being in, he had received an injury from a bullet that hit his spine. He did have to use a cane for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, his mother did commit suicide.

    First Edition of Against Method

    Paul Feyerabend was originally going to publish the book with his friend, Imre Lakatos. It was going to be called For and Against Method. Imre Lakatos passed so Paul Feyerabend published Against Method. He believed that there should be no rules when it came to science or scientific methods. Sometimes, the best methods are those that no rules at all.

    Second Edition of Against Method

    In Paul's second edition, he had taken out a chapter of visual arts and put in some of his work from Science in a Free Society. When the first edition came out, he had a lot critics give their opinion on his work. In the second edition, he includes some of his responses to that criticism.

    The Death of Paul Feyerabend

    Paul died in Switzerland. He had suffered from a brain tumor. A lot of people had said that he liked to say things (even if he did not believe them) to stir up a reaction. Paul did do a interview before his death.
