    Middle Ages

    Pope Gregory I (c.540 – 604) also known as "The Great" and one of the most important figures in Papal history for drastically reforming and improving its administrations. As a leader it is important to know when to make necessary changes to create better opportunities and advancements. Pope Gregory knew that in which he kept his missions and activities focused on one thing which was church. I picked this leader due to the example of staying consistent with the end goal.

    Classical

    Aristotle (384 B.C.E-322 B.C.E) was a towering figure of Greek philosophy who made important contributions of logic, criticism, rhetoric, physics, ethics, politics, and so much more. He was to the first to develop a formal system of reasoning and that an argument can be determined by it's structure rather than content. Aristotle was empirically minded which created an actions speak louder than words meaning and every leader should uphold to this standard.

    Renaissance Reformation

    John Calvin (1509–1564) who is French and known as one of the most influential reformers because of his book called institutes of the Christian Religion. Which was a pillar for Protestant theology. Calvin religious leadership had a major impact on the formation of the modern world and would inform society of God and justification by faith alone. I picked this leader due to the influence Calvin had on society his teachings are still present today.

    John Locke (1632-1704) who created the argument with the government of people having their natural rights protected. He argues that people should have the choice of life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and the rights should be protected under the governments law. He is significant due to his political thinking but also his social enlightenment as well.

    Andre Carnegie (1835-1919) who was an industrial philanthropist led the expansion of the American steel industry during the Guided Age. He physically and economically increased American progress pushing America to today's modern society. I selected this leader due to his big role in the rapid growth of America during this time period.

    Modern Period

    Martin Luther Kings (1929-1968) form of leadership was transformational. He fought for equality and civil rights for all Americans. His leadership empowered others on an individual level and at a very difficult time when society seemed as if it would never change. His relentless effort to demand change helped society to be where it is today. I chose this leader because I picture a present world with segregation along with Americas decrease in advancement socially, economically, and physically.

    Postmodernism, Science/Technology, and Recent

    Steve Jobs is known for having an autocratic form of leadership. He also aimed for the simplicity that comes from conquering, rather than merely ignoring, complexity. He would go on to produce several machines that would be user friendly rather than challenging. Steve created Apple which is a technology innovation through hardware, software, and services. Apple is one if not the biggest companies that has help society evolve along with the creation of social media. Jobs is a technology genius.

    Future Predictions

    2035 Elon Musk has a form of transformational leadership and focuses on creating positive change in the world. He is known for the creation of Tesla which created the first electric car and billions are around the world. He recently purchased the social media service of Twitter. In a world of advancing innovations and technology my prediction of future leadership within society belongs to Elon Musk.
    2050 The changes that will drive future leadership is technology and the culture of society.
