Birth
Poncho was born on June 5 1878. His parents were Micaela Arambula as his mother and Agustin Arango as his father. His family lived in Durango, Mexico. His real name was Agustin Arango. -
Father died
In 1893 he father died. When this happened he was only 16 years old.Agustin took over as the head leader of his family. He also starting working as a sharecropper. -
Shot Hacienda Owner
In the same year of 1894 when he came home from a of sharecropper a ranch owner wanted to take is 15 year old sister. Agustin got very mad and shot the man in the foot. After he started his life again he went fled to mountains. He changed his name to Poncho Villa because he knew that the local police were after him. -
Settling Down
On May 29, 1911 he tried to settle down. By settling down he got married to María Luz Corral . Madero was president when this happened, so he unrested led to Villa’s support of Madero. He gathered some troops and started working with General Victoriano Huerta, who then accused him of stealing his horse so then Villa was executed. -
Poncho went to Prison
Poncho was forced to stay in prison in from june to December . At this same time period it was December 27,1912. Huerta killed Madero and claimed it presidency. As this was going on Villa escaped from prison. Then went back to his family. -
Ponchos friend
In 1914 the Mexico was still trying to wrap the Civil War and Poncho Venustiano Carranza turned against each other. The United States choose to support Carranza. Villa go really mad and killed 18 Americans in January. -
Entering Mexico
Whenever Poncho entered Mexico it was on March 9, 1916. When he entered the border of Mexico he attack a little town of Columbus. Seventeen people americans got killed and the center of the town was burned down. -
Raid of Columbus
In the same year on March 9, 1916. The raid of Columbus, New Mexico was on Poncho Villa was angered by the United States supported by Carranza and led by rebels to raid. Nineteen and more americans were slaughtered and there was a little town that got ranged. -
The Hunt
On May 20, 1916 the hunt begin for looking VIlla. After the raid of Columbus, thousands of soldiers were sent over the border of Mexico to search for Villa. They searched and searched for more than a year but never found him. -
Death
On July 20, 1923, Villa retired from being a killer. Oly after 3 years of being retired he was shot while sitting in a car. The car that he was sitting in was shot 14 times Villa died instantly. The killer was never found.
