The Birth of Suleiman. However, his true birth date is unknown but it is commonly agreed that he was born in April but of 1494 or 95 the sources are unclear. -

Suleiman's Schooling
Suleiman was sent to the best school in all of the Ottoman Empire, at this school he was educated by one of the most famous scholars of the time. He was educated in various subjects these include but are not limited to; Science, Literature, History, Theology and advanced courses in military tactics. -

Holding of Kaffa
When he graduated at the age of 15, Suleiman wanted to test his learning and become a governor he asked his father and was rewarded with the Governor holding of Kaffa. This city still stands under a newer name in modern day Ukraine. -

Devastation
Not long into his rule of Kaffa and not long after his father was crowned Sultan, Suleiman was sent back to become the regent of Istanbul. His father was on a campaign to suppress decadent rebels. Consequently Suleiman uncles. -

His father after dealing with even more rebelions came back to the city with a terrible sickness. -

Suleiman the Magnificent Inherits the Crown
Suleiman inherited the throne from his father after his father died. He inherited the throne at the age of 26 or 25. Suleiman became the 10th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. -

This was the time taken to travel and siege out the fabled island of Rhodes and all its castles, therefor destroying the Knights of Hospitaller. -

Suleiman's Early Ruling Military Campaingns
Suleiman mustered a large army leading it into Damascus dispelling even more rebels. After he lead the very same army to Hungary quickly assimilating Belgrade, one of Hungary's most wealthy cities of the era. -

After Belgrade, Knights of Hospitaller
Suleiman's counsellors then suggested attacking Rhodes, Rhodes at the time was the main stronghold of The Knights of Hospitaller. These Knights were constantly harassing the Ottoman Empire, they were righteous Christian believers. Suleiman commanded his massive army, 100,000 Men strong and 400 ship fleet. Besieged the castle of Rhodes and in 5 months the castle fell. -

After returning back to his empire Suleiman took a five year gap period but soon after was leading troops in Europe
