He was in the Czechoslovak army and in the year 1938 he received the rank lance corporal.while he was in the reserves. -
Nazi party
Five months after the German annexation of the Sudetenland, which is when northern, southwest, and western areas of Czechloslovakia was taken by German speakers. Oskar Schindler joined the nazi party. -
Moving
After Germany had control of Poland, Schindler moved to Krakow from Svitavy in October 1939. In the factories where they were Germanizing the Jewish and polish is where Schindler employed the jewish. He employed just over 1,000. -
Relocating
In October the Emalia Jews had been transferred to plaszow. Schindler sought and received the authorization to relocate his plant to Brünnlitz (Brnenec) in Moravia, and he reopened it excluevly as an armaments factory. An assistant of his made several lists of up to 1,200 Jews. The list was known as schiendlers list. -
Leaving
On May 9, 1945 is when Schindler left Brünnlitz that is when the troops liberated the camp. -
