He got married to a Catholic Women named Emilie Pelzl. But had mistreses on the side. -
Great Depression/ Oskar's Failers
During the struggle, Oskar couldn't hold down a job so he changed often. He tried to start a couple businesses but went bankrupt. -
Sudeten German Party
Oskar joined Sudeten German Party. Even though he is Czechoslovakian he joined Abwehr. He was soon convicted by the Czechoslovakian government in July 1938 for espionageand imprisoned. -
Freedom
Because of the Munich Agreement, he was released and in 1939 he joined the Nazi Party. -
Poland (Nazi Investors)
He never misses a chance to make money so when Germany invaded Poland. He was right behind the SS to invest his profit on any type of land in Poland. He gained ownship of a bankrupt factory Krakow and had 1,000 Jewish workers. -
Change of Heart
Oskar saw the final liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto and saw his workers murdered he had a change of heart in his work ethic. He created a no ( Shouting, Abuse, and Random Killings). While he was making money he kept the Jewish workers safe. Well fed and i was an oasis of humanity throughout the war.
