Lennie and George end up taking the bus to, salina river to work on the ranch but the bus dosent end up going to the ranch all the way so they have to walk about 10 miles to get to the ranch so they end up sleeping by the river that night and go in the morning to the ranch for the job. -

The next day they go to the ranch in the morning and George makes sure that Lennie dosent talk while talking to the owner if the ranch so it dosent screw up there chances of getting the job. -

George and Lennie come back from, bucking up barely. George that day ends up telling slim about what happened in Weed. Slims girl dog is having puppys and that means Lennie will be getting one since George has promised him. -

Curley decided to go beat up Lennie because curley thinks he is so tuff, and so George lets Lennie get beat till he tells him to" get him" so Lennie breaks curley every bone in his hand. Slim tells Curley too say that he got his hand caught in a machine or they will tell what he did to Lennie -

all the rest of the men went into town but candy and of the men went to town to go to the doctor with Curley, but only two people stayed and that was lennie and George. So Lennie went to go see Crooks because he had alight in his room. -

Everyone went outsidde to go play a horshoe tournament. While Lennie stayed in so he coulde be with his puppy in the barn.Then Lennie had killed the puppy so he was trying to figure out what to do with it before Curleys wife showed up. Lennie was very nerv ous because of what happend so after he confused his love for soft things to her, she let him pet her hair but when she wanted him to stop he anded up breaking her neck and killing her by accident. -

When Candy had found Curleys wife in the barn and not moving the first person he thought tell was George because he had had a feeling that Lennie would've of done it. George immediatly tells candy to tell the group like it was his first time seeing her died so that exactly what he did. When curley found this out he went to go grab his shot gun to go kill George. George took carlson and went to go kill Lennie himself because he wanted him to die thinking about tending his rabbits. The end -

- When George and Lennie where going to the ranch in Salina river Lennie was petting a mouse but he ended up killing the, mouse because he was petting it to hard 2.When Lennie breaks every bone in curleys hand because of George telling him to stick up for him self and not get beat up on him 3.When Lennie kills his puppy because he took it out of his litter to much, and away from its mother so it died.

George is a big part of the story because he is in charge of taking care of, Lennie since he promised jos aunt Clara to take of Lennie he dosen't want to let her down. Lennie to him is like his baby brother even if he is is as big then he is. -

Lennie is a guy that is mentaly challanged, he has a mind of like a elemantry school kid. He travels with George because he can't take care of himself. Lennie never means to hurt or kill anything but he dosent know his strengths, he also only has one thing on his mind and thats tending the rabbits when him and George move to there own place with rabbits and etc. -

Curley thinks that he is better then everyone else because he is the owner of the ranchs son. He also has a anger problem, also curleey dosen't let his wife talk to anyone else but him so he is very controlling. -

Curleys wife is very neglacted by curley and his family. She is is always trying to talk to people but they always ignore her, she feels like she has a problem. Curleys Wife dosen't even really feel really inlove with Curley.she had confuesed to Lennie. -

Candy is the oldest person who is working on the ranch in salinas river. He is an old man that dosent have much longer to work on the ranch. He has been through alot since on the ranch he lost his hand and as well as his dog so he his hoping to move out with Lennie and George.
