A angel with brown hair would take Mawi and his sister and brother to the Wheaton college for soccor, playgounds or spend time playing her guitar and singing to them. -

His dad's story
His dad's parent died when he was young and he lived with his relitives. HIs life wasn't easy and as he grew he desired to be a doctor. He read whatever he could get his hands on, he eventually became well know in the villiages. Thus set his career. -
Father's practice took off
His father practice did well and he had many firend and hew grew weathly. He had a lot of enemies as well. and soon those ememies over powered him and ran his out of business. He considered leaving. He had his fmaily flee Ehiopia into Sudan. HE said he would follow them. -
Mawi's father in Amaerica
Upon movng to America he wasn't quite the hero he had been at home, the best he could get was a job at the wheaton college as a janitor. Over a short period of time, his eye sight failed him and he was let go. It was very hard on him. -

HIs father deteriorated quickly, losing his teeth, his sight, diabeties set in. He grew obbessed that he ,ay loose respect and became obbessed with staying active and keeping fit. -

Track star
One word from a coach and mawi joins a track team and worked hard at being the best at it as he could. He would set goals for himself and work on it every day until he had been sucess. one can see why he was so sucessful in school, he trained himself to be successful, it wasn't always easy but it WORKED and worked hard at it. Look how it paid off. -
Mawi's father killed drink driver
Both brother and father killed by drink driver. -
Mawi is accepted to Harvard
Mawi sppled to several schools getting accepted to all of them and in the end even harvard offering a full scholarship. Which he took. -
Studying
Mawi would study until his father would say to him " how long are you going to sit in there by yourself? If you do not learn to mingel with people you will become like those wild ones who never speak with anyone. Mawi read and read. leaning all the while. -
He graduated
He graduated at the top of his class and gave the commensment speech at his graduation. It should be noted that Mawi thought a lot of what he acomplished through out his years was due to his kindness. He believed and saw the rewards from his actions. As he says some people treat other like beatles and some like Angels. He treated people like angesl just as his father did.
