Nostradamus is born in December 1503 in the south of France. he was child of Reyniere de St. Remy and Jaume de nostradame

early life

1508

Nostradamus went to school with his grandfather teaching him extra subjects. he learned latin, greek, Hebrew and mathematics. he was more advanced than an average kid and learned very fast.

College

1517

by 1517 he entered the university of Avignon to learn about medicine.he left this university because the bubonic plague broke out. he stayed in the country area of France and stayed there for a while. he went back to another university at 1522.

plague

1526

He works for a while by treating the plague. Many doctors use the normal method by making medicines from mercury, or drawing out blood. instead Nostradamus told people to improve their hygiene and made a pill of rose petals for them. this worked just as fine.

famous

1531

Nostradamus becomes known for his work and hobbies. he is invited to work in the same field as Julius Cesar Scaliger, a French physician. During this time he meets his wife and has two kids a few years later.

death of kids and wife

1534

both his kids and wife died this year because of the plague going around at the time. this causes him to lose focus on his career and he loses his job with Jules Scalinger. he decides to take a break for a little till he can calm himself down

goes back to old life

1547

he decides to settle in Salon de Province and treat people with the plague again. At this time he meets a rich widow and falls in love with her. they get married and have three boys and three girls.

visions

1550

he wrote down his visions and started to publish them. he started to leave medicine to focus on his visions. everyone wants to hear more of his visions so this inspires him to write and share more.

full time visions

1554

Nostradamus leaves medicine for good now and just stays on visions and predictions. at this point he has 10 volumes with 100 predictions in them about the next 2000 years.

catherine de medici

1556

Catherine de Medici becomes obsessed with his work and calls him over to work for her. he predicts how the king Henri II will die and tells him to stay away from jousting. one year later the king dies because he was stabbed in a jousting competition and gets stabbed in the back of the eye all the way to the brain.

Death

1566

Nostradamus goes to the lawyer the week before his death to leave his estate for his wife and kids. the night before he died he told the doctors about how he wouldn't be alive after sunrise. when they went to go check on him, he was lying on the floor dead. he died of heart failure

Nostradamus actually predicted about the rising of hitler and 9/11. his birthdate is unknown. some dates people think he is born on December 14th, 21st or 24th. he is also one of nine kids in his family.
