Malcom X
El-hajj Malik el-Shabazz, also known as Malcolm X, was born on 19 May, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska. Malcolm X referred to white people as “devils" and he rejected integration in favor of segregation. Malcolm X became a national/international figure between 1959 and 1965. He also spoke out on his beliefs on Islam and the way racial problems should be addressed. He was assassinated in 1965. -

Born on the 19th of October 1934, Yakubu Gowon was the former Head Of State in Nigeria. He was known for ruling during the Nigerian Civil War. He came into power after one of Nigeria's military coup d’etat. When he was in power, Nigeria did not have a Biafran Secession during the Civil War. -

Chief Moshood Kashimawa Abiola (M.K.O) was a well known politician. He made Nigerian history by having one of the fairest elections. Abiola's vision was for every Nigerian to have a voice. However in June 1988 he died of mysterious causes after being imprisoned by Ibrahim Babangida and General Sani Abacha. -
