Nick Vujicic was born in Brisbane, Australia. He was born without any limbs, this is known as tetra-armelia syndrome. -
Depression
During this year, at the age of 8. Nick was a victim of bullying which lead to depression and question of his own life here on Earth. -
Speaking out
By this point in life, Nick embraced himself and could do things that would require limbs such as brushing his own teeth, combing his hair and being able to swim. He found Gad during those times of hardship and with this, he decided he should talk to others and motivate them by talking about his own life, God and never giving up. -
Recognition
In this year, Nick was nominated for the "Young Australian of the Year Award" which is awarded to those who give service to their local community and the nation, as well as their own personal accomplishments. -
Present day
Present day, Nick is the director of his own non-profit organisation called Life without Limbs, he has spoken at many schools and expos talking and preaching about God, never giving up and always thinking good about yourself. He has spoken to over 3 million people so far and is planning to do more. He currently lives in California He has publiseh his own book called Life Without Limbs: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life and his own DVD as well. On February 17th, he married Kanae Miyahara.
