He was born on 5th August 1930 in Wakaponeta, Ohio. -
When he was young...
When he was young he lived in 20 different places. Being 5 he flew for the first time with his father and when he was 16 he did his first flight alone. One year later he went to university to study Aeronautic engineer. -
Family
He got married on 28th January 1956 with Janet Shearon. They had 2 soons and a daughter, but she died because she had an illness. In 1994 he got divorced from Janet Shearon because in 1992 he fell in love with Carol Held Knight. -
In the moon
He was the first human in the moon. Apart from it, he was also aeronautic engineer, military pilot and university teacher. In 1966 he did his first spacial flight and on 20th July 1969 he finally arrived to the moon. These were the words he said: That´s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. -
Death
Neil Armstrong died on 25th August 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
