    On 10/2/1869, one of the worlds greatest peace hero’s was born. On this day, Ghandi was born in the rural area of Porbandar.

    At 13, Ghandi was married to a women his parents set him up with. They ended up having 4 children before she died young.

    In a bar in London, Ghanaian was called for the unfortunate news of his Mothers passing. He later learned that his family tried to hide it from him, but all that did was make him work harder4

    This is when Ghandi became the one we all know.This year, Ghandi stated that he would go to jail or die the obey anti-Asian law.
  • Returning Home

    After years away in Britain, Ghandi returned home during WW1, just after calling the ambulance corps for Britain. This got him A BUNCH of followers becasue they believed in what he was preaching.

    Imprisonment

    On March 10th, Ghanaian was arrested during a protest on the British. He got thousads to help boycott the cotton and other goods, leading to his imprisonment

    On march 12, 1930, Ghanaian and thousand of others marched to the sea to get salt. This was non protest of the salt tax and caused Ghandi’s second imprisonment

    In 1934, Ghandi retired and stopped believing in Indian freedom. He stopped believing when he was jailed a third time for demanding freedom after helping the British in WW2
  • Near Death

    In 1944, a man who disagreed with Ghandi tried to assasinate him twice, failing both times. This wasn’t the last that we would see of him though.

    One January 30th, 1948, Ghandi was assassinated by a Hindu extremist, The killer was sentenced to death row and Ghandi’s ashes were spread, but we will never forget him.
