Studies
It has not been possible to identify exactly the school that Frida attended before 1922. However, it has been mentioned repeatedly that she was a student at the German School until 1921 and that she would have obtained the school certificate there. -

He has always liked painting, his passion for art arose because of the physical suffering and diseases he suffered. -
Accident
On September 17, 1925, she suffered a serious accident when the bus she was riding on was hit by a tram, crushed against a wall and completely destroyed. She returned home from school with Alejandro Gómez Arias, her then boyfriend. His spine was fractured in three parts, also suffering fractures in two ribs, in the clavicle and three in the pelvic bone. -
Secont work of art.
In 1927 his painting became more complex. That same year he painted the Portrait of Miguel N. Lira, an oil on canvas of 99.2 x 67.5 cm where he shows his companion cap in a very particular and symbolic background full of objects and signs that allude to his name. Just a year later he made the portrait of his sister Cristina with very pure lines and very soft tones. -
First marriage with Diego Rivera
In 1922, he had had occasion to observe him during the realization of his first mural. In 1928 he had met Diego Rivera again in some evenings and meetings that he attended with Tina Modotti, but he had never spoken directly with him. One day he visited him spontaneously, while working to show him his own work. Diego was impressed with her paintings and encouraged her to continue painting. Since then he has been a constant guest at the house of the Kahlo. -

Died
Frida Kahlo died in Coyoacán on July 13, 1954. No autopsy was performed. His remains were veiled in the Palace of Fine Arts of Mexico City and his coffin was covered with the flag of the Mexican Communist Party, a fact that the national press criticized profusely. His body was incinerated in the Crematorio Civil de Dolores and his ashes are preserved in the Blue House of Coyoacán, the place that also saw it born. -
