No soldiers would abandon Temujin in a time of starvation because he was thought to be passed down from the gods. If they disobeyed his rules, they would be spiritually punished.

    Teujin defeated the Khwarizmian Dynasty in 1215. He surrounded the cities and blocked off it's trade. Everyone in the cities starved. This is significant because by defeating the Khwarizmian Dynasty, Temujin had violated China's peace treaty. This would eveolve into a problem between the Mongol empire and China.

    Temujin orders the destruction of the Xia Xia in 1226. On his death bed Temujin wanted to see his enemies suffer. He ordered his troops to delete any trace of Xia Xia in Asia. They followed his orders and destroyed whole villages and towns. This is significant because the once powerful Xi Xia are now destroyed. This raises the Mongolian empire's status to the number one empire in Asia.
