    The Beginning

Feyerabend was born in 1928 in Vienna, Italy. He joined the army in Germany and fought during World War II. He was shot several times and one hit his spine and was paralyzed from the waist down for some time. When the war was over he studies arts but then went to focus on Philosophy.
  • His Cristism in Scientific Methods

    His Cristism in Scientific Methods
In 1975 he published a book called Against Method. His book claimed that science was leading more towards anarchism than rationalism when taking into account the theory of knowledge. He is known for his famous quote "anything goes," being that science is better if it was mostly free for all rather than just focused by large institutions. This can make science progress better but because of set ways of thinking, views of science are shut down therefore we in a sense fall into scientific anarchy.

In this video, it explains Feyerabend reason why he believes science falls into a type of anarchy because new ideas being shut down because it does not fall in the normal paradigm. He explains his famous quote and how science falls into dogmatism.
  • His Death and Philosophy

Paul Feyerabend died in 1994 and was considered "the worst enemy of science." I believe his views tie back to philosophy because it explains why it may have take so long for common ways of knowledge to change because new ideas of science are shut down simply because it is too much outside the realm of possibility.
