Ivan took the ended Mongol rule and also expanded territory this made everyone like him. That is why they call him Ivan
the great. he was the grand duke of Moscow from 1462 to 1505. -

Ivan was Russias first crowned czar in other words king. Ivan did some terrible things, for example, he murdered his own people and he also attacked like a town/village and lead the army he killed men women and also children. Ivan also had mental issues but when he was a child his father died and then that left him with his mother but sooner or later his mother died and he became an orphan without any parents. His wife that he loved so much also died. -

Alexander was a like king and he also happens to be assassinated but he also had some accomplishments.he was called a "Liberator" because he fed poor servants who lived on land own by nobles.He wanted to make peace. -

He was head of the Soviet Government he also changed the government into one communist party-state. He also persecuted more than 140k as well as organized deaths. -

Joseph Stalin governed Russia in 1922 through 1952. He did bad things like if you didn't believe in his policies then you would either be killed or you would just be starved. Stalin killed 20-25 million innocent people. One of the good things that he did was defeated Hitler in world war 2 but after he did he demanded half of Europe. -

He was Russia's first president he remained in office and was elected twice. He changed the economy from the market to the command economy. He ended up dying of Heart Failure. -

The Cold War lasted about 4 decades which is a very long time. while both sides didn't attack each other directly they showed up in smaller nations such as Korea and Vietnam. The Cold War was between the USA/Allies and the Soviet Union. -

He was the leader of the USSR. He was the 8th and the last leader of the Soviet Union. He mad it command economy. -
Vladimir Putin
He became the president of Russia. he stabilized the economy joined NATO. he was also appointed prime minister in 2008. he is still the president to this day.
