The Birth of Lakatos
Imre Lakatos (Imre Lipschitz) was born in Debrecen, Hungary in 1922. He was born into a Jewish family. During his final years in school was the uprising for Nazism across the countries. He was attending the University of Debrecen, where he earned a degree in mathematics, physics, and philosophy. The Life of Imre Lakatos
Imre Lakatos was a philosopher of the 19th century. He was born in 1922 in Debrecen, Hungary. Lakatos passed away in 1974 from a heart attack in London, England. He was well-recognized for his research programs and disputing Popper's and Kuhn's beliefs in science and pseudoscience. Lakatos' Works
Lakatos had published a group of articles known as "Proofs and Refutations" in 1963-64. "Lakatos’s point is that the development of mathematics is much more like the development of science as portrayed by Popper than is commonly supposed, and indeed much more like the development of science as portrayed by Popper than Popper himself supposed" (plato.com).

Lakatos' Research Programs
Lakatos had created what was known as Methodology of Science Research Programs. The Death of Imre Lakatos
"Lakatos was appointed to the London School of Economics and he taught there for 14 years until his death" (mathhistory.uk). He passed away in his home from a sudden heart attack on February 2nd, 1974. Lakatos passed away before most of his work was recognized. Leaving his projects to be uncompleted.
