Mahatma Ghandi
He was from India. He was born 2 september 1869.
He went to London to study to be a lawyer and after passing the exam he came back home.
In 1947/1957 he was shot dead. -
Eleanor Roosevelt & The UN
She was born October 11 1884.
She was first lady to be the president.
She was the first chairman for the U.N.
She died at the age of 78.
She created the first draft of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The document has 30 human rights which applies to EVERYBODY. -
Adolf Hitler
Born 1889 in Austria and described his child hood as sorrow.
He wanted to be a artist but failed his test.
He started to get angry at the jews. He survived the war against Russia.
He blamed the jews for the lost of the German economy and decided to kill them.
The world then realized it was wrong and signed the Human Rights Declaration. -
Nelson Mandela
He was the first black President in South Africa.
Only 25% of Africa was white but they held a lot of power.
He was born 1918. 1943 he joined the ANC.
1960 people started complaining about the pass law. -
Martin Luther King
Born in 1929 and died in 4th April 1968.
In 1957, he was elected President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
He wrote 5 books.
He got shot while he was standing on a balcony of his motel. -
