Before becoming prime minister he wanted his best to accomplish was re shaping the conservative party, work on policies on things like the senate and civil services. I give him a ranking of 2 because I think he made good progress for Canada between his time in office.

    Explanation:Author Meighen was prime minister from 1920-1921. In my eyes his I thought one of his best accomplishments was he implemented policies to Prime minister Sir Robert Laird Bordens government. I gave him a ranking of 1 because he wasn’t in office for quite long so he could only make so much of an impact.

  • Warren G Harding (1921-1923)

    Explanation:Warren G Harding became president in 1921. I gave Warren a 1 because he did things like tax cuts on high incomes and protective tariffs. From what I’ve read about him he seems like he was a decently good president.

  • William Lyon Mackenzie King (1921-1926)

    William Lyon Mackenzie King became the prime minister of Canada in 1921-1926. He did some good things for Canada like reduce tariffs and by the time he was to of office Canada was becoming more independent from Britain. The reason I gave him a 1was because I didn’t think he did that much good in the sense of having Canada involve as a country but he also didn’t make anything not involve.

    Explanation:Ernest C Dury was the “Farmer Premier”. He helped in the development of agriculture and spoke out for farmers rights. I gave him a a 1 because I feel he had an important impact on the agricultural industry.

  • Inquiry question:

    From the research I’ve collected I came to the conclusion this time period was a progress. From not only just collecting Canadian information but as well as American I was able to tell they both had progress during this time period. I think it’s important as Canadians that we learn about our close allies and their history as well. From learning about both governments I was could tell they both were evolving as countries.
