He was born in Bromley,Kent England. -
Becoming obsessed with stories
Growing up he broke his leg and became bedridden. He began reading which made him want to write -
1874 He started going to Thomas Morley's Commercial Academy
He continued going to private school concentrating on reading and writing until 1880. -
1879 H. G. wells became a pupil teacher
His mother arranged for him to become a apprentice pupil teacher. At the National school of Wookey. -
Financial problems 1880-1883
The Wells family started having very bad financial problems. To help the family he started working as a draper which helped give him the idea to write one of his first novels The Wheels of Chance. -

This year he decided to leave the apprenticeship to become a pupil teacher at Midhurst Middle School. -

He was then married. -

He was later divorced and remarried his student. -

This year his novel The Time Machine was published. -

After 1897 he became a huge influence on the science fiction community. -

He became the co founder of The Diabetic Association. Him too being diabetic. -
Unknown Death August 13th 1946
H.G. Wells died of unknown causes at the age of 79 in his home. Some reported he died of a heart attack in his London home but know one is sure of all the facts.
