Guglielmo Marconi in England
22-year-old Marconi and his mother arrived in England and quickly found intersted backer and including the British post office. Within a year, he was brodcasting up to 12 miles. He set up a wireless station on the Isle of Wight. This allowed Queen Victoria to send messages to her son, Prince Edward. -
