How it all began..
This was when terrorist decided to attack many U.S. landmarks. However, the Twin Towers is the most known part of it. The attack is what inspired Ryan to join the millitary. -
Off to Fort Bragg
Ryan is moving units and is going to Fort Bragg North Carolina. -
I'm coming home
Ryan returns home in March 2004. The Iraq war has been going on for a year. -
So it begins..
Ryan becomes the driver of a 20 ton bulldozer. He will lead his team in this vehicle. -
Boom !
Ryan and his crew are sent to look for any mines that are out there in the combat zone. -
Off to the states again
Ryan gets to go back home for a couple of weeks. -
Good-bye
Ryan has to go back to the ar, leaving his family behind again... -
Hey little guy
Ryan gets a new little buddy that's a bird. He calls him jerkface. He plays around with him observing the little bird. -
Terrible news
Ryan finds out that his family shut down his dog, back home. He is very sad and cries once he is done reading the letter his father sent him. -
R.I.P
Jim Conklin, a fellow soldier, has died and everyone takes a moment to remember him. -
Night Terrors
Ryan has sleepless nights where he feels that someone is watching him or near him. He fears he will hurt Heather in her sleep. -

Ryan publishes his own book. He describes his experiences and more in the book.
