Death
George was at his home in Mount Vernon with his wife, Martha. He had been out that day on horseback in damp soggy weather. He arrived back home only to go straight to bed. The next day he awoke extremely sick. His death soon came shortly. HIs death was such a heart break, that Napoleon ordered ten days of mourning.
