Birth

Genghis khan was born in Mongolia in 1162 his real birth name was Temujin. His parenets were Yesügei (Father) , and Hoelun
(Mother).

Killing of half brother

Jan 1, 1176

For several years Genghis lived in poverty. During one hunting trip at 14-years-old Temujin killed his half-brother Behter during a fight which resulted from a fight over hunting rewards.

Prison Escape

Jan 1, 1177

In 1177 Genghis was captured in a raid and held prisoner by his father's former allies,(Tayichi'ud) (they enslaved Genghis) . But a guard helped him escape in the middle of the night by helping him reach a river.

Mobile Army

Genghis achieved an army that could travel 70 miles in a day (matched by no others) and some of his enemys would surrender just so they wouldnt have to deal with the mogolan attacks.

Supreme Ruler

In 1206 Genghis was made the supreme ruler by his people and was also given the name great Khan which is the title he was known by.

Chin empire

Genghis went after the chin empire defended bye the great wall of china. He broke through the wall and captured the capital now known as Bejjing, he did this bye using captured women and children as human shields.

Major injury

Genghis embarks on a his final campaign he rides at the front of 180,000 warriors that are ready to cruah an uprising among the tangut people. He fell from his horse and suffered major internal injurys.

Death

Jan 1, 1227

Genghis died in 1227 but before he died, he assigned Ögedei Khan as his successor and split his empire into pieces and distrubted it to his sons and grandsons . He was buried in an unmarked grave at an unkown location somewhere in mongolia.
