gander was born 1938 in a house in newfoundland. when he was 18 weeks he scratched one fo his owners face. then he was supposed to go to the pound. but the royal rifles of canada took him in.

gander was on the lookout for enemys but there was a hand grenade thrown and gander snatched it out of the air and ran it over to the people that had thrown it but it was to late and it exploded in his mouth and he passed
