Pg 40; Victor notices that he wants to pursue a "career" in science. He wanted to banish diseases from the human frame but instead he later on creates a grotesque creature. -

Pg 45; Victor's professor in college didn't like his writing so he said he needed to pick a new class to study. He recommended chemistry and he took the offer into consideration. -

Pg 56-57; The creature became alive. Once Victor noticed the creature was alive, he had no idea what to do or say. He automatically went to hide for his own safety. He mentioned that the creature was a "demoniacal corpse", which in fact is true. Once Victor had went to hide for his own safety, the creature escaped. -

Clerval and Victor's Conversation
Pg 59; Victor goes and sees Clerval. Clerval then realizes that something is off with his fellow friend. He asks what is wrong and asked if he has been getting enough sleep lately. Victor says he has been occupied with something lately and it hasn't allowed him to get a good night's rest. He was feared on what was going to happen next since the creature is out on the loose. -

Pg 76; "Indeed, who would credit that Justine Moritz, who so aimable and fond of all the family, could suddenly become capable of so frightful, so appalling a crime?" Victor Frankenstein who was responsible for the death of innocent William. He felt guilty about Justine being the one being accused of this harsh event. -

Pg 78; "A thousand times rather would I have confessed myself guilty of the crime ascribed to Justine." As Justine goes to trial, Victor worries he won't be able to save her from the death penalty. He failed and didn't save her and felt guilty and then he finally goes after the creature. -

Victors Development (Justine's Death)
Pg 85; "I beheld those I loved spend vain sorrow up on the graves of William and Justine, the first hapless victims to my unhallowed arts." As both of Victor's loved ones died, he gathers up strength while he is grieving over his loved ones. He gathered up strength to get rid of the creature once and for all. He has another set of determination and ambition to get rid of this creature. -

Victor Retreats to Nature
Pg 89; "It was during an access of this kind that I suddenly left my home, and bending my steps towards the near Alpine valleys, sought in the magnificence, the eternity of such scenes, to forget myself and my ephemeral, because human, sorrows." Victor goes towards nature because he wants to be able to find where the creature ran off to. He also used that time to think of ideas on what to do and say about the creature. -

The Monster Begins to Tell His Tale
Pg 97; "But I consented to listen; and, seating myself by the fire which my odious companion had lighted, he thus began his tale." The monster is upset that Victor is assuming that he is a bad person. Victor decides to give it a shot in listening to what the creature has to say and see if it is even worth it to kill something that is living even though he considered it to be demonic. -

The Monster Finds the Cottage and is in Awe
Pg 103; "It was a lovely sight, even to me, poor wretch who had never beheld aught beautiful before." The creature is in awe of the cottage because of the way it is built. He notices the people that live in the cabin and begins to be more in awe and he starts to teach himself to speak and learns new things by watching this cottage. -

The Creature Learns to Speak
Pg 109; "These thoughts exhilarated me and led me to apply with fresh ardour to the acquiring the art of language." Since the creature is in so much awe of his surroundings, he begins to learn new things. He's teaching himself to speak by watching the actions of the family that lives in the cottage and listens in to their conversations to be able to understand the language. -

Monster Perfectly Understands Language and Communication
Pg 112; "The stranger learned about 20 words at the first lesson; most of them, indeed, were those which I had before understood, but I profited by the others."As the monster continues to watch the cottage, he now fully understands the language and communication between the people who live in the cottage. He notices that the stranger also doesn't know the language and is now learning the language as well. -

The Unjust Accusation of Safie's Father
Pg 117; "The father of Safie had been cause of their ruin. He was a Turkish merchant and had inhabited Paris for many years when, for some reason which I could not learn, he became obnoxious to the government." Now that the monster understands what the family is saying, he can understand their story, which is weirdly like what has happened to Victor's family. Safie's Turkish father was accused wrongly of a crime like Justine, and sentenced to death in Paris. -

The Monster's Discovery
Pg 124; The monster finds some of Victor's journal entries in the pockets of the clothes he initially took from Victor. He made a very big mistake. He discovers that Victor was totally grossed out by him and hated that he had brought the monster to life. -

Pg 132; Seeing as everyone hates him for no fair reason, the monster swears revenge on all people, particularly that person who created him only to live miserably, ugly, and alone. -

Another Possible Creature Gets Turned Down
Pg 138; Victor tells Walton that he is refusing the monster's request of another creature. The creature thinks otherwise, he believes as a creator that he deserves to have a mate. -

Pg 144-145; Victor Frankenstein told the creature that he is going to make another creature. He lied to the creature because he doesn't want the monster to go kill more of his loved ones. -

Pg 155-156; Victor then rushes off to the Orkneys, where he can work on his lady monster in solitude. Victor spends all his time alone with his half-finished monster and a guilty conscience. -

Breaking News to the Creature
Pg 165; Victor Frankenstein is coming up with many different scenarios on what could go wrong if there is another creature his world. He ends up deciding he is no longer going to create another creature and has to break the bad news to the monster. After that Victor flees to a nearby town. -

Pg 156 ;He came up with different scenarios and that means he is actually acknowledging what is going on. He has grown significantly as a person by noticing more of his surroundings and his actions on what to do in a certain situation. -

Pg 167; "On that night he had determined to consummate his crimes by my death." The monster is threatening Victor for not making a second creature. He continues to make threats towards him until he gets what he wants from Victor. -

Elizabeth Dies
Pg 184; "The murderous mark of the fiend's grasp was on her neck, and the breath had ceased to issue from her lips." The monster got what he wanted and was able to murder Elizabeth. Victor also completely loses it because his love of his life is now no longer alive. -

Rain on Victor and Elizabeth's Wedding Day
Pg 188; "The rain had seized for a moment, and I saw the fish play in the waters as they had done a few hours before; they had been observed by Elizabeth." Rain on a wedding day is not a good sign. Usually it means the situation isn't going to work out and in that case it doesn't. -

Snow and Cold as Victor is chasing the monster
Pg 195; "As I still pursued my journey to the northward, the snows thickened and the cold increased in a degree almost too severe to support." The weather gets too cold for Victor and at the end of this chapter he ends up dying and the monster ends up completely alone and in agony. -

Victor didn't develop from the last time. All he did was be more brave towards going after the monster in freezing temperatures and ended up dying.
