Francisco Franco Bahamonde known as Franco was born on the 4th December 1892 in Ferrol , Galicia.His family had been naval officers for six generations , so when he was 12 years old he enter in a naval secondary school. -

In 1916 while he was serving to the Spanish army on the war of El-Biutz between Ceuta and Tanger.Franco recieved a shot below the belly that made him stay in the Hospital for 3 months in which he almost died.A lot of soldiers like Franco died because in that period there were no so much sources to heal different types of wounds.But he had luck and he could survive. -
The Youngest General In Europe
Besides he was one of the most famous dictators during all the history of all around the world , Franco was named on 1926 as general of brigade at the age of 33 being in that moment the smallest general of Europe after Napoleon.So when he reached the absolute power he knew well what was the real power and he also know how to command in his own way. -
Political Parties During The Dictatorship
During the dictatorship of Franco in Spain only 2 political parties existed , so the other ones were banned.This 2 parties were called FET(Traditionalist Spanish Falange) and JONS(Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional Sindicalista) that were leaded by him. -
How He Reached The Power
Franco reached the power after a coup d'etat , after reaching the power he proclaimed a dictatorship that lead Spain to a civil war that lasted 3 years , then when the war finished Franco stayed almost 40 years leading Spain from 1936 to 1975. -

As Franco was a great friend of Hitler , they agreed to throw a bomb to a Basque town called Guernica were people from the other side to Franco were living.Besides Hitler send soldiers to Spain to support Franco. -
Other Languages Where Prohibited
As part of Franco’s mission to stamp out cultural diversity , Franco banned different type of languages , like Basque , Catalan and also the language of his own region , Galician.The only language that could be used was Spanish. -

In 1940 The dicatators of Germany and Spain called Hitler and Franco meet for deal somethings to make an alliance between the two countries for the World War 2.Finally nothing was agreed so Hitler didn't like the things that Franco asked for.But the 2 of them decided in being friends , so then Hitler send a bomb to Guernica to help Franco during the civil war of Spain. -

Before Franco died he asked Carlos I his successor If he can continue with the Authoritarian Monarchy , but after he died Spain passed a transition period to aprove a Constitution to turn Spain into a Parliamientary Monarchy that continue nowadays.
