    It Can't
    There has been a car crash including 4 teenage boys; Andy, Robbie, Tyrone, and B. J.. The body of Robbie has been found burnt inside the car while the others stood with shock on their face and tears covering their cheeks. The reason the reason they acted like that is because they saw him as a great friend. Also they grew up with him and they see him as a brother.
  • In Honor of Robbie

    In Honor of Robbie
    "The team decided to forfeit the next two games and to dedicate the rest of the season to Rob and try to win the title as a tribute to him.". Everyone on the basketball team including the coach took time to respect and honor Rob because he was so nice to all of them and they loved how much he cared about people. They took each practiced and said things that Rob did or said to them that changed their life in a positive way.
  • First Day Back

    First Day Back
    "Well, if you really want to know. I wanted to die right after the accident. I wanted it to be me that was dead instead of Rob. He had so much goin' for himself." He feels so much regret losing Rob because he has been blaming himself for his death because he was driving. Showing that he cared for Rob more than anyone else because he even started dedicated everything to Rob and thinking about him non stop.
  • The Big Game

    The Big Game
    "The crowd is spilling out of the stands and onto the floor. They're screaming and cheering and mobbing the team, who pulled out a fantastic win tonight. Andy Jackson should be very proud of himself." No matter what he went through he was still able to pull through and win the game for his school. Shows that Andy can pull himself together when it comes to making other people happy.
  • Psychologist Visit

    Psychologist Visit
    Andy ends up going to the Psychologist and talking to him, Dr. Carrothers, and talks to him about how Andy has been feeling. Andy talks to him about how he feels like Robs death is he fault and Dr. Carrothers tries really hard to try and help him through the situation and shows so much care towards Andy because Dr. Carrothers knows that he is going through a lot right now.
  • 2nd Visit

    2nd Visit
    Andy goes back to talk to Dr. Carrothers about how he has been feeling and how school has been going since he has gotten back into it. Andy talks to him how his teachers look down upon him and how they expect him to be less smart. Andy also talks about how they do not think he is cut out to do what he wants to do in life. But, Dr. Carrothers talks about how he can do anything if he sets his mind to it. From this 2nd visit it shows that Andy and Dr. Carrothers are building a strong friendship.

    Andy goes back to Dr. Carrothers and talks to him how its hard to not have Rob with him for Christmas because they did a lot of things together during Christmas and he feels like nothing is the same without Rob with him. Showing that even though he can contain himself he will still and always will miss him showing how caring he can be.

    It is a snowy day and Andy and all his friends are it English class talking about a poem that they just read. talking about the colors black and white. They also talk about how back then color really did predict how people judged and saw them. Also the teacher talks about how racism is slowly decreasing but it is up to the new generation to help better the community. It shows that the characters can treat every one else can be equal.
  • 3rd Visit Leads to Forgiveness

    3rd Visit Leads to Forgiveness
    Andy goes back to Dr. Carrothers to catch up with things. Dr. Carrothers tells Andy that he should talk to Robs parents either over the phone or send them a letter and tell them how he feels about everything and tell them that he is sorry for everything. It shows us that Andy is strong but he holds stuff against him especially if he sees himself as the main cause of it.
  • Night & Dreams

    Night & Dreams
    Andy's brother Monty ends up coming into Andy's room and talking to him about how he is scared of the dark and how he wonders if blacks dream in color. But Andy ends up being the big brother and tries to help Monty through things telling him that he will try to make sense of things that he doesn't understand. Also tells Monty that he will be there for him anytime he needs a friend or a brother. This gives us a different look at Andy because now w see how loving he can be for others.
  • A Letter of Remembered Joy

    A Letter of Remembered Joy
    Andy writes a letter to Robs parents listing all of the great times him and Rob had and how much he missed him. He put his heart and soul into this letter because he wanted Rob's parents to know that he is truly sorry for everything that has happened to separate Rob from them. Showing that he gained the strength at this point to talk to Rob's parents saying how he is sorry and that he will never forget Rob.

    The study of Macbeth is a very important thing that is taught in high school classes. When the teacher asks for opinions about a quote given by Macbeth that says "Out out brief candle.". This quote was said to be the quote that inspired Andy to do what he did later on. And they talk about how that quote is said to say that so one is meant to live forever because life is like a candle. when you are born the candle is lit but once the candle is all done for then is cant be brought back.
  • A Meet With the Counselor

    A Meet With the Counselor
    Tyrone and B.J. are getting concerned with Andy because all he keeps talking about is Rob. So they end up going to the counselors office to talk to the counselor about Andy. They express their concern for him and she tells them that it is a hard time for him so he is gonna be acting like how he is for awhile. because it is a traumatic experience not only for him but for everyone.

    Andy's English teacher talks to another teacher about how concerned she is with Andy and how she doesn't wanna see him fail. And from this we can see Andy's teacher isn't as mean and non caring as the students think she is. Also shows the his English teacher looks out for people no matter the situation.
  • Private Pain

    Andy does a talent show and basically raps his pain but no one knows it and when he gets off stage Keisha see that he is starts to ask him if he is alright but he gets mad that she is not ready to sing next and they get into a fight and break up but instantly after they do he starts to regret everything that just happened. Showing that he is really dependent on Keisha and he cares about the love that she gives him. But he reacted that way due to him thinking of Rob.
  • Last Calls for Help

    Last Calls for Help
    Andy is desperate for help by now. It is midnight and he tries to call Keisha but her mom told him that she doesn't care how important it is, but he should get to sleep. Then he tries to call Dr. Carrothers but he had something go on with his mother and he was out of the office and couldn't be reached. By now Andy is hurt because he thought that they would be there for him anytime he needed them but now he thinks there were never there for him.

    Tiger Has it Rough
    Andy starts to rethink everything in his Life and does not want it to be bad anymore. he is getting sick of losing people and he is tired of being reminded of Rob all the time because he gets depressed. As he is rethinking life he has a shotgun in his hand and just feeling the barrel of the gun and that is when it happens. Andy Shot himself and was later found is his room, blood all over the wall with the gun in his hands and laying on his bed. 4:11 the cops pronounced him dead.
  • Final Goodbyes

    Final Goodbyes
    Monty, And's little brother, goes to Andy's grave to say his final goodbyes. As he is talking to Andy's grave we see that Monty really cared about his brother and hope that his brother is okay and that he hope he is okay with where he is. This shows us that Monty loved Andy and was hoping that Andy could help him in life. Monty wanted Andy to teach him how to talk to girls and play basketball.
