Franklin D. Roosevelt was born in Hyde Park, New York. When he turned nine he was at school at Germany. Going to school he sooned realized he was a popular kid and very outgoing. Marrige to Eleanor Roosevelt
On march 16th Franklin Roosevelt was married to Eleanor Roosevelt. She was his fifth cousin. She was born in 1884, 22 year old Franklin Roosevelt married 19 year old Eleanor Roosevelt. FDR getting poliomyletis.

FDR and the great depression
FDR when he first came into office he proposed his "new deal". Proposing the deal made him easily elected for the 1932 elected. He also ended the prohobition. FDR first term
He was elected in 1932 to his first of four terms. By march there was thirteen milliion people unemployed and the Country was in a deep depression. FDR's second term
By 1936 he was heavily realected to presidency. He proposed the good neighbor act. That meant to take attack agaisnt there rivals. FDR's third term
He was elected to his third term at the democratic convention in chicago. He recieved some critisism for running again since you were not supposed to run for more then two terms. FDR dealing with WWII
On this day Japan did a suprise attack on Pearl Harbor through the air. On that day he declared war on Japan, becoming Allies Churchill and Joseph Stalin.http://www.history.com/topics/us-presidents/franklin-d-roosevelt. He said his famous quote "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" -
FDR fourth term

FDR's death
He died on April 12th in Warm Springs Georgia. At about 1pm he complained about a terrible pain in the back of his head. It was a massive cerebral hemorrhage. By 3:30 he was pronounced dead. President Truman had taken control of the United States.http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/fdr-dies
