Latency
During the start of WWII. Propaganda was at its start, seeing recruitment flyers and comics on the TV to fight and protect the motherland. In school, Desmos' talked about joining the fight and defending his motherland but was made fun of by the other kids in the class and the teacher told him that he has to wait a long time because he is just a child, he can't help at his young age just be another bag the troops have to carry. -
Adolescence
After Desmos' 14th birthday during WWII, he wanted to join the fight and serve his country. Due to his age, he was told that this is a war, not some game and he was too young. The recruiter loved his determination but told him he was a child and would not make it in the war. -
Young Adulthood
Desmos' was in med school and came across an soldier who was badly injured in the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and was his nurse. After some time taking care of him the soldier told him that a guy nurse is no normal and he should of been a soldier in the war. Desmos' grew a liking to the soldier and that was mutual feeling and he had no idea how to act on it without the fall of the world on him, they just finished one war but this war on himself is going to be the worst.
