Fry Goes to the Future: Identity vs. Confusion
Fry finds himself getting launched into the future. He has trouble seeing who he is and who he's meant to be. He felt like he was in the wrong place before he went to the future. Now that he's in the future he's still unsure. This stage is a time of searching for who you are versus who you aren't. -
Fry Meets Leela: Intimacy vs. Isolation
Fry finds he likes one of his coworkers he tries over and over again to get her to go out with him, and over and over she says no. Fry gets discouraged but never gives up. Eventually Leela agrees. In Eriksons 5th stage it's a battle between creating relationships or pushing people away. -
Fry Has Lived His Life: Integrity vs. Despair
Fry accidentally freezes time and him and Leela are able to see the world without any disruptions. This is Eriksons last stage. It's about looking back on your life and either feeling satisfied with you choices and life or looking back and feeling disappointment and regret.
