Walking with Love
Asher Wilde (10 months old) is being cared for by his mother and father. He confidently took his first steps today and both his parents were there to praise him and comfort him. He trusts his parents and extended family as they help to raise him. Stage 1; Trust versus mistrust Being cared for by his family and an extended number of caregivers, Asher has gained trust of his community and the adults that care for him, only checking with mom and/or dad when he is introduced to a new person. -
Pushing through Failure
At a local climbing competition Asher (age 9) comes in fourth place in his age bracket. Though he is sad that he didn't make it to the podium this year he's proud of the routes that he was able to finish and liked getting to play with his friends. Stage 4 Industry vs. Inferiority
Asher takes pride in his sports ability at the climbing competition. He also accepts that he is not necessarily the best at this activity he likes engaging in an activity with his friends. -
Wedded Bliss
Asher (26) marries Lily, his girlfriend of three years, in a small wedding in his family's backyard. They have decided to purchase a home the next year and are planning on having children not long after. They are excited to blend their identities and create new traditions as a new family.
Stage 6; Intimacy vs. Isolation
choosing to become emotionally close to his wife, while still maintaining his own self concept, Asher has chosen to not become isolated.
