Jack makes up a story about an assignment he has to do and takes Polly along. Jack has a gun & shovel in the back. It’s getting late so he decides they are going to Blaine Lake instead, so that they can show Jessie that Jack is married. They go on a rural road and John stops to shoot some geese. Then he points the gun at Polly's head, and shoots the top of her head off. Then buries her body in a hole he dug under the culvert -
The Car is Burnt.
Jack burns the car in the culvert, attempting to destroy the evidence. He claims a fire started in the back and he lost control of the car. He claimed tried to put it out in the culvert, hoping there was water in it. -
