WHO:Christopher Newport was a English privateer and ship captain.
WHAT: Newport sailed with Francis Drake. He sailed with drake on the daring attack on Spanish. he sized fortunes of Spanish and Portuguese. he attacked a Cuban ship where he lost hi right arm.
WHEN: Newport was born in 1561 and died in 1617
WHERE: Born in the U.K and mainly explored Europe and Spain
WHY: He wanted the pursuit of Spanish gold and later the expansion of trade -
Henry Hudson Born: Between 1560-1570 Died: 1611
WHO: Hudson was an English sea explorer and navigator in the early 17th century.
WHAT: One of Hudson's accomplishments is while on his 3rd journey he found 3 waterways named after him. The Hudson river, Hudson bay, and the Hudson strait.
WHEN: He returned from his voyage in 1670.Born: Between 1506-1570 Died:1611
WHERE: He sailed from west of England. He was born in England. No one knows for sure where he died. He died near the Hudson bay.
WHY: He was hired to find a shorter route to Asia. -
James Cook 1728-1779
James Cook was a British exporer. In 1770, he was a navel captan and discovered the Great Barrer Reef, NewZealad ,Antartic Circle and Hawaii on his ship ''HMB''. He was born in Clavaland, England in 1728 and died in Hawaii trying to take a local leader for hostage and died in 1779
