He went into underground rap battles at the age of 15 and at 17 started to get the name of M&M for Marshall Mathers. When he turned 19 he actually got the name of Eminem because of one of his friends who came up with the name. -

Eminem was always being moved around to bettter places so that his mother was able to find better work to make more and more money for the family. In september 1984.. eminem and his mother finally settled in Detroit Michigan where he stayed there until he turned 17 where he started rapping in underground battles. -

Eminem got remarried to kim so that they could have a better life style for hailiee, but things still werent doing good and in april 2006 eminem and kim got divorced again due to kims drug problem.. eminem and kim were constantly fighting and couldnt take it anymore so eminem filed for divorce and kim and eminem havent spoken about a marriage or even a relationship at that point. -
