Sir Donald George Bradman was born and given him his name. He was the youngest son of George and Emily Bradman. Don had 1 brother, Victor and three sisters Islet, Lilian and Elizabeth May.
Don was born nursing home at 89 Adams Street, Cootamundra, 320km south-west of Sydney. -

He moved to Bowral
When Bradman was about two and a half years old his family moved to Bowral, NSW Southern Highlands. -
Started kindergarten

Don maded his debut playing for New South Wales (NSW) and he was playing against South Australia (SA). Sir Donald scored 118 runs including 8 fours. -

Donald Bradman was playing for Ausstrlaia against England. Don scored 18 runs in the first innings and 1 run in the second innings. -

Donald Bradman got married to Jessie Martha Menzies at the St Paul's Anglican Church. -

In 1936, their first child, a son. But very sadly a few days later he died. -
There second son was born
Three years later, they had another son, John. Jonh was diagonosed with polio. -
Don joined the RAAF
Don joined the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) and he was past fit for air craft duty. -

Their first daughter was born in 1941 and she was diagnosed with cerebral pasly since her birth. -
He scored his 100th century
Sid Donald George Bradman scored his 100th century playing for Australia against India at the SCG. -
His last test
Sir Donald Bradman played his last test against England. -
He retired from tests and one day cricket
He retired from cricket because he got older and he had a family to look after aswell. -
Bradman Oval
in 1987 the Bradman Oval in Bowral was opened to all visiters to come have a look at and to play in. The Bradman Oval also has a cricket pitch on it for anyone to play his favourite game. -
Bradman stand named
The Bradman stand was named at Adelaide oval. -
Jessie died
Lady Jessie Martha Menzies died from cancer at the age 88. -
Bradman died
Bradman died at the age of 92. Donald died at Kengingston Park, SA.
