Eragon's Cousin Roran is having trouble at home. His house has burt down and Eragon has disapeared from the village (first book) He has no money so it will be hard to marry a girl in the village named Katrina. (Her father is very over protective and her mother is dead)

THREE DAYS after the Battle under Farthen Dûr, the varden leader Ajihad is slain by urgals, and both Murtagh (Eragon's Best friend) and the Twins(unnamed magicians) are presumed dead. Eragon meets with the Council of Elders (the coleaders of the Varden) about having a new leader. They recommended Nasuada, Ajihad's daughter, to be the new leader. -
Eragon's Cousin Roran's story starts
Soldiers form the Empire arrive in Carvahall. This takes place Soldiers form the Empire arrive in Carvahall. (Eragon's home village) FIVE to EIGHT days after the end of the first book. At this point they are looking for Eragon or his cousin so Roran has to hide in the forest. He gets items from his friends. He doesn't know why Eragon is Wanted or why they want him. It is still MARCH, YEAR 8000. -

The Rebellion of the Village
At first when the soldiers came in to Carvahall the villagers didn't care. Then the soldiers stole food and items from the villagers. It was the final straw when one of the soldiers killed a man when he was drunk and then he fed the corpes to their leader the Ra'zac (huminoid ravens that have hypnotic powers and eats humans)
After that they called Roran for help and they all started attacking the soldiers. -
The meeting with the Dwarf King
after meeting with the Council of Elders, Eragon and Saphira meet with Hrothgar about if it is a good thing for Nasuada to be the Leader of the Varden. After the Discusion They Agree that she could be a good Leader Also Hrothgar (the Dwarf king) offered to adopt Eragon into his own dwarf clan, Dûrgrimst Ingeitum. Eragon accepted, and Orik helped him complete the ritual to make him a true member of the clan. This was the first time in history that a human joined a dwarf family. -
The funeral of the varden Leader
Ajihad's funeral commences, and Nasuada is crowned. After talking with Saphira about Nasuada, Eragon knelt and pledged himself to Nasuada as her vassal. She accepted his pledge of fealty and later ordered Eragon to travel to Ellesméra for training among the elves.Shortly after, Eragon and Saphira leave for Du Weldenvarden (The Elf Capital) Wiith a elf girl named Araya and a dwarf prince named Orik a friend of Eragon's -
The Threat
the Ra'zac come to The village by their self and tell the villager if they don't give them Roran then by tommarow they will all die. The village dicides to start making a barrier around the village instead of giving the Ra'zac Roran -
The Battle of Carvahall
The soldiers sent 30 soldiers to find Roran. the loyal people said he was hunting in the forest when the soldiers wasn't expecting it. the villagers started to fight back. 8 villagers died but all 30 soldiers died. -

The soldiers watch Carvahall from a distance. the villagers start to have peace -
The second battle
The soldier attack agian and in this battle Roran finds himself fighting soldiers with Sloan (Katrina's Father) Roran realises that Sloan was Literally fighting like a maniac to protect Katrina. -
The Arival
Eragon arrives at the edge of Du Weldenvarden. It is LATE ARPIL, YEAR 8000. Saphira is between six and seven months old. Eragon is sixteen years and two/three months old.(Probably closer to two months.) -
The Flee
The next day Roran has a meeting to see what to do with the soldiers. The only sensible idea was to flee into a dangerous mountainous area, called the Spine near the village. Roran goes around convincing people but for most, it does not work. -
The rage of Sloan
He asking Katrina (who he is engaged with) to leave the village and go into the Spine for her own safety. When Sloan finds out this, he flies into a rage because that is the place that His wife and Katrina's Mother died in. When Roran comes to help her, it is revealed that they are engaged. Enraged he disowns her and denied her her mother's inheritance -
That Night
In the night Roran and Katrina are sleeping when they are attacked by soldiers. Roran was able to fiend of most but they kidnapped Katrina and enraged Roran him and his friends snuck to a hill soldier’s campsite found out that Sloan has made a deal with the enemy to destroy Roran and capture Katrina. He was about to attack but fainted from blood loss. -
The Escape
Roran give a speach after Katrina was captured that was so strong that over 95% of the villagers dicided to follow him because of his character instead of his idea. This anoyed him a bit. The villagers got all their goods and head into The spine. -
The Elves Secret
When they got to Elf palace and talked to the queen it was revealed that Arya was the princess. The queen dicided to show Eragon their most guarded secret. It was another dragon rider an elf male named Oromis Thrándurin or the morning sage. His dragon was named Glaedr. Orik was a little angry because The Oramis and Glaedr doesn't opose Galbatrix (The main enemy) Openly. Orimis replied that they are handycaped. he can't use magic anymore and Glaedr Has a broken leg. He can still teach Eragon. -
Arival at Teirm
In Teirm Roran tried to find ways to get cheap food easily and he runs into Jeod. Jeod (a sales man secretly working for the Varden) recognizes Roran's voice from his father. After leading Roran to his house, Jeod tells them that he is a friend of Eragon his cousin. He also explains that Eragon is a dragon rider. This is why their was so many soldiers a the village. Jeod also explained that he should ask Eragon for help to get Katrina back. Roran decides to join the Varden to find Eragon. -

Eragon Is being taught by Oromis while
Saphiria is being taugh by Glaedr. -
The Journey
Jeod, Roron and the village pirate a ship named the Dragon Wing and set sail to The Varden city -
The Transformation
The elves invoke Dagshelgr, the Hallowed Day. This is a ceremony where every one brings a gift. During a ritual Eragon starts to become more elf-like. His face is sharper and His ears are sharper. In the middle of the transformation, he faints. -
The discovery
Afterwards the next day when he wakes up, he is a more elf like. He can run faster, Use magic more easily, he is better at swordplay, and he looks different. He starts thinking more like an elf also he is no longer an human he his half human half elf. -
The Departure
Eragon and Saphira leave Du Weldenvarden but before they leave they promise to return. -
Back to the Varden
Eragon gets back to the Varden in less thab a week. -
the Battle of the Burning Plains
ONE DAY after Eragon arrives, the combined forced of the Varden, Surda, and the dwarves are fighting the Soldiers at the the Burning Plains, Roran arrives with the villagers of Carvahall and helps fight the battle. During the battle Murtagh comes and fights Eragon. Murtagh takes Eragons sword Zar'roc.
