He made the Great Pyramid of Giza. He was known as Khnum. It was believed that the chambers in the pyramid were filled with jewels that have been long stolen. -

Most successful female Pharaoh. Was Pharaoh after her husband died. Her dad wanted her to become Pharaoh. Completed many projects and made foreign trade routes. People enjoyed peace under her rule. She was a wife, daughter, and sister of a king. -

Thutmose III (1481-1425)
He was the stepson of Hatshepsut. He was supposed to take the throne after his dads death, but he was only 2yrs old. he ruled for 54 years and died at the age of 56 years old. He is known as Napoleon of Egypt. He was a great warrior and fought to protect Egypt. -

Amenhotep III (1391 BC-1353 BC)
His rule is remembered as one of artistic glory and prosperity. He contributed a great deal to the field of art by building many monuments, statues, and stone scarabs that are still good today. He is the Pharaoh with the most amount of statues. -
Period: 1380 BCE to 1334 BCE
Akhenaten (1380-1334)
He was known as Amenhotep IV. His people didn't like him. He tried to change his gods. After he died they destroyed his statue. His son changed the gods back to normal. He was eliminated from the list of kings and no trace of him was found until discovery of his remains at Akhetaten. -
Period: 1341 BCE to 1323 BCE
Tutankhamun (1341 BC-1323 BC)
He is the most famous Pharaoh of all time. He became Pharaoh at the age of 9 or 10. His reign only lasted from 1332 to 1323. He died at the age of 19. -

Ramesses II (1303 BC-1213 BC)
He was one of the greatest Pharaohs of the New Kingdom of Egypt. He was called the Great Ancestor. He had a victorious military career. He built an extensive amount of monuments spread all over Egypt that are now a proud part of Egyptian heritage. -

Xerxes I (519-465)
He was called Xerxes the Great. His son was Darius the Great. He was the ruler of Persia. He was assassinated by his bodyguard. So he was probably not a good Pharaoh. -
Period: 69 BCE to 30 BCE
Cleopatra (69-30)
She was the last Pharaoh. She tried to improve Egypt. After her death the Egyptian Empire came to an end. Egypt's last Pharaoh had a great influence on literature and drama.
