he was born in boston massachusetts on January 19, 1809. The death was october 7, 1849 his dad also left him when he was a year old which is in 1810 -
Mother gets Tuberculosis and dies on january first of 1812
On December 1st of 1812 Edgar's mother dies and he already had his father leave him when he was born. His mother died from tuberculosis. -
Adopted by the allen family in 1812
Edgar was then adopted by the edgar family after his mother died and his siblings were sent to different foster homes. his stepdad hated him. -
Sent to Boarding school in 1827
Mr.allen sends edgar to a boarding school with no money and he had to work off the money while in school. in 1827 this happened. -

his first love was his friends mother and she had died from brain cancer and he ends up weaping at her grave constantly. -

his stepmother was on her deathbed with tuberculosis and she had died from it and while shes dying Mr.Allen is having affairs while in the house . edgar thought woman should be treated with respect after this. -

when he joins the army he publishes books to earn money even though he didnt earn much. when he was in the military his foster mother had also died near this time on january first 1829. -

he moves into his aunts house and while doing so he falls in love with his cousin virginia. -
january 1st in 1835 he gets a job as a newspaper editor
he gets the job as a newspaper editor but gets in conflict with his bosses alot. -
1837- virginia and him get married
they had gotten married because of the fact virginia was about to live with another relative and realizes hes in love with her -
april 1st 1841 he publishes the murders at the rue morgue. january 1st 1841 he publishes the taletell heart.
he gets published for one of his famous books in 1841 then in january of 1843 ges published for the taletell heart. -
in 1842 of january 1st virginia is struck with tuberculosis while singing. publishes a book in 1845
he was drunk all the time because his wife was dying and he got fame but only 14 dollars from a book that was published and it was in the news. -
january 1st 1846 moves to new york with his wife.
he moves her there to try to earn money to keep her alive but he cant so he gets depressed and drinks heavily and often. -
october 3rd of 1849 hes found on the streets and dies the next day.
hes found on the streets with different clothes and hes taken to the hospital and the next day he wakes up and says god please help my poor soul and then dies
