So they traveled east to the city Kublai Khan's which is the capital of Kaifeng. Finally they returned to venice in 1269. Thats when they left marco with the Kublai's court. Marco became the favorite and was employed as a advisor and tax assessor. Marco then joined Ventetain forces fighting Genoa and was taken prisoner. For two years he was held captive.

Which was his half brother. 1585 was when he sponserd the first colony on Roanoke Island which is now North Carolina, but the colony failed.Walter was credited for bringing potatoes and tobacco back to Great Britian. He was a favorite of the queen.

Desert Island and most of the large rivers in maine.

The first time he failed, but in 1608 he tried a different route. He even sailed through bad ice instead of turning around. He was the first European to enter the Hudson river which is his name by the way. This voyage gave the dutch their claim to the region. Finally his diseased crew mutinied and set Hudson with his son and seven men adrift in a small boat.
