    Bloor published another book in 1986 called "Wittgenstein: A Social Theory of Knowledge". He was looking for a adequate areguement to Wittgenstein's later philosophocal work by emphazing the strong sociological point with a naturalist thrust.

    He was a man of many powerful ideas. He disagreed with the Actor Network Theory to the point that he wrote a powerful article called “Anti-Latour”. He did not belive that non-humans should be treated in an “Equivalent manner” to humans. David Bloor received the John Desmond Bernal Prize in 1996 by the Society for Social Studies of Science for his outstanding contribution to the field.
