Started Bunjee jumping company
Started Adrenaline Adventures, a business where he provided the "adventure" of bunji jumping out of a hot air balloon. From a business perspective, it was a huge failure which only lasted 5 days, however, my father believes it was a good thing because it helped him get into Stanford business school. -

Engaged to Diane Cohen Stempel in Sedona Arizona. Diane is originally from Portland Maine and went to college a Boston University. -

Married Diane Cohen Stempel in Boston Ma at the four seasons hotel. New in-laws were Phyllis Cohen (mother), Maurice Cohen (father), and Neil Cohen (brother) -
Graduated graduate school
Got his masters in business and engineering at the University of Stanford. -
Australia trip
A month-long trip to Australia. 2-week group tour and rest of it with his wife. -
Move to Utah
He moved to Midvale Utah to ski. Loved to ski snowbird, Alta, Snowbasin, park city, Briton, and solitude. He went on to name first dog Alta after the mountain. -
Got job at Boston University
Worked for the healthcare policy institute. This job comes in handy every so often because whenever he goes into Boston for a Redsox game, he uses his old parking pass to park at BU for free. -
Moved to Watertown
Moved because he needed a place near new job at BU -
Started job with aspect medical systems
Product manager. He was an employee of the company when it went public. Launched 10 products and was responsible for bringing the revolutionary Bis monitor to market. If you look closely one of the models is my mom, can you guess which one? -
First child
Alexander Harrison Stempel. He is currently 22 and on a gap year from college. Plans to attend either Denver University or University of Vermont next year. -

Sydney Pearl Stempel. She is currently 20 and is attending the University of Vermont. -

Chase Andrew Stempel. He is 17 and is currently a junior at Wellesley high school -
Moved to other house in Wellesley
Moved because he needed more room for a bigger family. When he bought the house he got a 6-month long remodeling job which almost doubled the house's size. The new house is bigger and has a large office so he can get work done at home. -
Big family trip to Tanazania
15 family members took a 2 week trip to Tanzania with a three day stop in Amsterdam on the way there. -

Being the director of Marketing sparked the inspiration to start his own marketing company. Dan started and still currently works for MD Connect. He has just recently launched a spinoff company called PatientCentra -
Crashed RV during trip to US national parks
During the second to last day of a two-week trip where he maneuvered a 30 foot RV daily, Dan crashed the RV into the entrance of Grand Canyon national park. He was not aware that the extension to the master bedroom was left out while he was driving, and when he tried to go through the Grand Canyon's entrance, he was surprised to hear the sound of metal bending. Thankfully prior to going on the trip he purchased insurance through the RV rental company.
