Colt McCoy was born in Hobbs, New Mexico. His parents named him Danial Colt McCoy becasue his dad wanted his name to Colt and his mom wanted it to be Danial. -
Starting 7th Grade and Football
Moved to Tuscole, Texas for his 7th grade year. the school was small with only 714. He started quartback for the first he played football. He went undeafted that season. -
First Championship Game
Lost against the San Augustine Wolves 28–7. That was Colt McCoy first lose in all of the years he played, He won 50 conseccutive games till then. -
Going to Collage
Colt got a scholorship for Texas Uneversity. He started collage in 2005 and decied to redshirt him self for the season. He didn't play that year. -
Saving Lives
Colt McCoy swam across a 300 yard lake to save a life. He saved some that was having a seziure on the dock. -
Starting as Freshman
Since he redshirted himself he got an extra year of elgilbilty. he worked hard and got to start as quarterback. -
First Heismen Trip
Colt placed second in for the Heisman. Quarterback Sam Bradford won that year. -
The Draft
He was drafted by the Browns in the third round, thirty-third pick, and eighty-fith overall. He didnt start until midway through the season. -
The Wedding
HE married Rachel Glandord which proposed to on January 12, 2010 after the Rose Bowl. -
Beating the Superbowl Champs
Colt McCoy and the Browns beat the defending Superbowl 30-17.
