    NATO/ Warsaw Pact
    The United States and 11 other nations came together to form North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The Soviet Union and its affiliated Communist nations in Eastern Europe founded a rival alliance, the Warsaw Pact in 1955. This affected Economy, because of all the controversies. This shows that we can come together and work things out, but countries are too salty to do so. That is why this is important to history.
  • JFK Assassination

    JFK Assassination
    JFK was the 35th President of the United States. He was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963. He was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. The reason why Oswald wanted to assassinate JFK, was because JFK is an easy target. The reason why was because he talked and shook hands with the public. JFK stayed a day later in Texas, so then he could be in the parade. That was a mistake. This affected the government and society, because he was an amazing president. It was a great lose for everyone.
  • Nixon/Watergate

    Nixon/Watergate
    5 men broke in the Democratic watergate, and got caught because they left the frickin door open. WOW that's smart. They also found out that the president at the time, Nixon, made secret tapes talking about planning this break in. He told everyone that he didn't know anything about it and lied. This is important to history, because the president should never lie. This also affected society, because they couldn't trust Nixon anymore. His nickname was "deep throat" lol.

    Reagan was the 40th president and he was also an actor. Everyone loved him because he did so many things that everyone agreed and loved. He was/is very well known. He is a republican. He affected society, because he did so many good things as a president and that's why he was/is important to history. But sadly he passed away on June 5th, 2004.

    Bush was the 41st president, and many people liked him and his work. His presidency affected Society, because he did lots of good things as a president. He is still alive to this day, and he is 93 years old. He was also the vice president, before he became president. This is important to history, because he made sure there wasn't a big amount of taxes, and he was overall a good president. His presidency should be remembered.

    Obama was the 44th president and literally everyone loved him. He was the 1st african american president and he was inaugurated in 2009. Which means he was sworn into presidency. This is important to history because he was the 1st african american president, and he was such a good president. Which is the same reason why this affected the economy.
