At the age of 19 Franks parents divorced. This absolutely devistated him, with a checkbook, and $200 in his bank account he ran away to New york. -
A man in a uniform
Frank scammed his way into getting a PanAm pilot uniform shortly after he ran away from home. He told the clerk that he had lost his uniform at the hotel dry cleaning. -
Bought printing machines
Frank bought check printers at auctions to icrease the amout of fraud checks he was able to make and cash. He payed for these machines with money from fraud checks of course. -
Bail
Frank managed to convince a jail gaurd to take money and bail him out form jail for him. There was confusion whether it was him or not, and the gaurd was an easy target to manipulate. -
Changed "profession" to Pedeatrition
Being a pilot was not eough for Frank. It was time to ove to a different city, and chage to a doctor. -
Impersonated a Lawyer
Frank decided it was time to change from doctor to something with a little higher pay grade. He woked as a lawyers assistant,but didn't stick with it for toolong because he though he was raising suspicion about himself -
Agent Abagnale
Frank almost never made mistakes when it came to fraud checks. But the one time he messed up big time there was only one way he wasgoing to get out of it. He impersonated an FBI agent to get the check he messed up back. -
Captured
WHen Frank was captured in France he was taken to prison. He was sentenced to 6 months in France's jail, which had terrible living conditions. Cement roof, walls and floor, no window, no bed, and no toilet. All he had was a bucket to do his business -
Escapes through toilet
After doig 18 motsh of jail time in Europe Frak was on his way to another sentencing when he was recognized on a plane. He locked himself i the bathroom and popped the toilot off and slipped down into the bottom of the plane. when it was slowing down he jumed off and ran.
